When we decided it was time for us to get iphones at SayerMotter Photography it wasn't to be trendy(people that know me just snickered a little bit trying to think of me as trendy--or trying to be). We see it as a tool to make pictures in a different way and have them easily at the ready to share---to offer our clients something perhaps a little bit fun to go with their photos that they order. The apps you can get to make your pictures look a certain way adds yet another little twist to it. Earlier today I was thinking about old school vintage photos and thought it might be good to try that out and I had just recently bought the Helga Viking lens and Float film and thought that combination might be a 'look' to try. Now I don't have the guts to try a shoot using nothing but the cell phone apps(and the quality isn't quite there yet for bigger pictures) but I might try to design this memory mate in a style that I can use these somehow--even if only in the background. Thanks for covering Steve's face...now I can focus on all the pictures without being scared.

Hi Rich!
Just taking a gander at some of your 'graphs, they're, as expected, pretty totally fantastic. This vintage style is really something. Congratulations on the new/old iPhone, hope you get acquainted with the technology, I too was ridiculed for finally buying one, (my friends always said it looked so weird in my hand haha) but it's a very lucrative tool. Take it easy and looking forward to the fall!
