I've always been fascinated with religious imagery. Paintings by many of the great masters I studied in years and years of art history drew me into the stories they seemed to be telling of hope. Many used symbolism that eventually became the iconography we associate with each religion and their belief structures. I recently photographed this stained glass window in a local church and I intended to use it somehow in a piece---though I had no idea what. Today I stumbled on it and it got me thinking of another piece I recently made and I thoughts I'd try something similar. I knew I had these photographs of Risa and began searching through them until I found the right image to combine with the window. I actually had another image entirely in mind, but when I saw this one I thought it might work quite nicely. I'm not sure what I'll do with it, but its fun to try things when they come up. It did distract me from a task I had to organize and set up a work station for myself and the business, but it is often worth allowing the distractions to take over. I have to be honest, I don't really enjoy taking group pictures! I am all about the candid moments! So, my favorite part of the group photo is when it is over and everyone walks away and acts like themselves. This photo is an out take from the Second Chance Prom. Everyone crammed into a small space for a group picture, flashed a smile and said "cheese." This is what happened after I snapped the photo.
Photo By: Harmony Motter No BONES about it...This is what Halloween is all about! A house, a door, a pumpkin, a bucket of candy and a skeleton!
Photo By: Harmony Motter I had lunch with my friend, Levi this afternoon. I ate a turkey-bacon sandwich with guacamole and he had Mickey-Mouse pancakes. During our lunch he gave me a high-five.

Photos By: Harmony Motter This is a message to Jess!! Jess, THIS IS THE ONE!! If this is the last photograph that you ever purchase...I would be fine with that!! This has to be one of my favorite photos that I have made in a long time! Everything is beautiful! Cody and you look great! The leaves are stunning! I don't think that I can use enough exclamation points!!!! You need a 10X13 print of this...matted and framed to have with you forever!!
Photo By: Harmony Motter I photographed Jess and her horse ,Cody this afternoon in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Jess and Cody have been together for 10 years. I have never spent much time around horses. But, it didn't take long to realize that this giant was a gentle guy! It was also really neat to witness the special bond that Cody and Jess have between one another. This was one of my favorite moments from the shoot.
Photo By: Harmony Motter I recently photographed the 'Second Chance Prom' at the Elks Club in Meadville, Pennsylvania. It basically means that if your first prom sucked...well then, here is your second chance! It was a senior project organized by Jade Pardee. All of the proceeds from the prom will benefit the New Life Unit at the Meadville Medical Center. In this photo is Tammy Pescatelli and her husband Luca Palanca.
