Sometimes its joy that defines our time, sometimes it love, sometimes its the deep thoughts we have as we transition from childhood to adulthood. Every portrait, at every stage of our lives is important to understanding ourselves. Old photos, though sometimes embarrassing remind us of how we got where we are....is there anything more important than that?

In our portrait sessions we don't strive for a simple picture that only shows off your features. A good portrait is more than just a picture of someone's face. It records for history ones thoughts, emotions and the deepness of character that every person has within them; we want to understand who you are as a person. When we achieve that in a photograph we have not only made a good portrait, but a work of art.
We believe that the beginning of life is such a tremendously important historical event that the entire wonderful process should be documented to show the love and care of bringing this life into the world. We began a concept called photography through life where we want to document from maternity through growing up. We strongly believe in the beauty of parenthood and capturing the bond between child and parent, siblings and the whole family.
