A senior's portrait is the final image to sum up one's high school career before heading off to their adult lives. It becomes the memory for others of your time together growing up. It can be a deeply meaningful picture or it can be fun, whatever expression you want to leave with your high school friends. At SayerMotter Photography we ask questions beyond just what you do, we ask who are you. We then seek to make an image to fit what we find out. No individual can, or should be reduced to a singular identity. Every person has complexities. This is what we seek to put into a senior portrait. And we have fun.

Senior Portraits don't have to be the same ole same ole!
The days of the average person owning a good camera and being able to make high quality pictures are here! This makes it even more important that I provide something that the average person with a good digital camera can't or doesn't really know how create. I draw upon my years of training in making drawings and paintings as well as 30 years of making photographs to provide images in my unique vision and style.
I try to work with the individual and their families to find 'their portrait' and give them something beyond just the typical. Now I know traditions are hard to break, and being someone who loves traditions, I really don't try to break them. Along with the more artistic approaches I also insist on high quality formal and informal shots during a session.
