One of the things I used to talk about alot with painters is how we were always looking for the form! What form will this particular piece take. Especially in undergraduate school when we really didn't have our own style yet--we were trying everything. What form will it take??? I feel that way with memory mates---what form will they take? I am really still in my infancy really with photoshop--so when I think of doing something---usually that means learning how to do it first. I really like trying different things--some work---some don't. I admit that I have a pile of things that I really don't think work. I think most artists and dedicated workers will admit that more failures occur than successes, but the failures we learn more from!!!!! I feel like this attempt is close--but not quite there yet---minor adjustments are needed, but I wanted to throw it out there tonight to see if the good people in Saegertown had any thoughts. i like alot of it, but am thinking about changing the 'softball' and the '2012' and depending on whose memory mate it is---changing the placement of the name. I do want to know though....if you think it..... well....sucks....let me know this too!!! But be gentle!!!! SayerMotter Photograph and design by Richard Sayer. By the way---I thought Ashlyn was outta town!!! And I wish I thought to tell everyone that I needed a cell phone picture---even if they didn't want a photo....live and learn!!!!!
I like this one. Adrianna has such a sweet smile. I like the team as part of the picture too. The little single shots in the background add a special, personal touch.
