Eric's a tough kid. He's a goalie on a hockey team...you can't be a goalie without being tough. So when I was shooting his senior pictures this summer with his motorcycle I joked with him about the hearts on the wall nearby. He sorta indicated that he'd be alright trying a few shots against the wall so we did. I still wanted him to look masculine so I had him take a wide stance and look down the wall. I had forgotten about the picture until tonight when I went to look for a couple other photos his mom ordered. I figured I'd make him a couple of wallets of this, maybe to pass out to a couple girls or even better, the next time he takes the ice he should go up to the best scorer on the other team and say--I'd like you to have a picture of me, I think you're really great! It just might get into his head and his shots will be soft in the glove all night! SayerMotter Photograph by Richard Sayer.
