I took a pretty neat picture today, but I forgot to post it and it is at work and I don't feel like going back in to get it to post and.......
So I found this Holga camera photo roughly this time last year. Craig Walker's recent visit here made me want to try shooting with the Holga again(except I let Katie Mayo borrow it!) I watched Craig shoot pictures with his cell phone using a 'hipstamatic' application and create these absolute works of art. This really made me want one of these cell phones with the camera--but mostly I want the camera. So if I get this Holga back I'm going to go out and get some color film and try to see what I can do with it. I know its not the camera--its the person behind the camera and I know Craig's use of the cell phone is why the works of art were created... but still--I
'm hoping I can find a way to make some thing with it. This was a little painting with light with an open shutter(I taped the the shutter open) that I did last winter in my basement trying to make a self portrait. Holga photograph by Richard Sayer.
