July is looking like it is going to be a busy month with senior portraits. I've begun going back and looking at some experiments with lighting and different set ups in hopes to get myself juiced up for the up-coming sessions. I've always been fascinated with mirrored reflections and I think I really want to explore more with this in senior portraits. I know that often it comes down to more traditional images that are needed for the yearbook and or gramma's mantle, but its the exploration of something visually different that I hope is what is attracting so many seniors to us. This wasn't a senior picture and we don't even have the chair or the same studio when I took this, but I think this idea might have some merit perhaps with a nice gown and a elegant drapery in the background.
