So, for anyone who lives or has lived in Crawford County, Pennsylvania they know what a neat place the Meadville Market House is. Built in 1870, the market house is Pennsylvania's oldest market house in continual use. It serves as a venue for sale of area produce and products, such as baked goods, maple syrup, fresh meats, and cheeses and fruits and vegetables.
So, this morning when I arrived at the market house, I realized that is was officially the first day of Fall. The market house looked great! It was filled with freshly harvested vegetables, maize corn wrapped in Autumn ribbons and beautiful Fall flower bouquets. I love it! The Meadville Market House is one of my favorite things about Crawford County.
