So, I have been snapping photos for quite some time now. Over the years there has been one constant with photography, people LOVE color photography and I don't know why. There have been several times where I have presented someone with a beautiful black/white photograph and I hear "well, it's nice but, can I get it in color?" I want to say "WHY??" But, I don't. So, a friend once told me that you have to have three valid reasons to have an argument. So here goes...To the first person that can present to me three reasons why a color photograph is better that a black/white picture....I will give you a free portrait session and a free 10X13 print (black/white or color...your choice). Remember...three valid reasons. Good luck and may you always dream in black/white!
1. Her eyes show a bit too much contrast in the bw, but are nicely highlighted by the light blue in the color background.
2. you get a ver nice bw feel from the grey shirt and the rather monochrome of the skin and blonde hair which makes the multicolored background a nice addition.
The skin and shirt are a bit too close in color in the bw.
All three could most likely be changed but for this one, I like the color.

1. Color is better if you want warmth and more life to the picture.
2. Color attracts the eye more and is more appealing to most people.
3. Black and white is more "artsy" and most people do not have a liking for artsy for their personal photos.

1.Beautiful sunsets need to be in color
2. Striking eye colors need to be seen,(my daughters as an example)
3.Most garden pictures need color due to the color being the picture if that makes sense.
pss: I really like the combo pics where all is black and white with just one item in picture being in color.
You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I discover this matter to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and incredibly broad for me. I'm excited for your next publish, I'll try to get the hang of it!
